Terms & Conditions – The Skinologists, Chester

At The Skinologists, I take great pride in offering bespoke, science-led treatments in a calm, welcoming environment. To ensure you receive the best experience possible—and that I can continue offering exceptional service to all clients—please read and understand the following Terms & Conditions before booking.

Booking & Appointments

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments.
  • Appointments are only confirmed once your deposit is received.
  • If your deposit isn’t paid within the specified time, your appointment will be cancelled.
  • Please arrive on time. If you are late, your treatment will be shortened to avoid delaying the next client. The full treatment cost still applies.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance will allow your deposit to be transferred.
  • If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or do not attend, the full cost of the treatment will be charged.
  • No-show appointments payment will be taken in full for the treatment value booked.

Consultations & Suitability

  • Some treatments require a consultation or patch test prior to your first appointment.
  • If you are a new client or considering a skin plan, please book a consultation first.
  • Not all treatments are suitable for all clients. If you are not suitable, we’ll discuss the best alternative options.

Health & Safety

  • It’s your responsibility to inform me of any medical conditions, allergies, medications, or recent aesthetic procedures that may affect your treatment.
  • Some treatments are not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
  • If you have any symptoms of illness or skin infection, please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule.
  • I reserve the right to refuse treatment if you are unwell or the treatment is not appropriate for your condition.

 Treatment Expectations

  • Every skin is unique, and while I aim for the best possible outcomes, results may vary depending on your skin, lifestyle, and commitment to aftercare.
  • Some concerns may require a course of treatments for optimal results.
  • You’ll receive personalised recommendations, but long-term results are supported by consistency and homecare.

 Minimum Age Policy

  • Clients must be 18 years or older for most advanced skin treatments.
  • Some treatments may be available to under-18s with parental consent and a consultation.

Gift Vouchers

  • Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the purchase date unless otherwise specified.
  • Vouchers are non-refundable and must be presented at the time of use.
  • Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

Privacy & Data Protection

  • All personal and medical information is treated in accordance with GDPR.
  • Your data is stored securely and only used to manage your appointments and treatment plans.
  • Your information will never be shared with third parties without your consent.
